DESCRIPTION

Trophy Twin 3.5 tons built as side load rear facing with separate tack/seating area, built to a high standard with strong flooring, full size ramp, and loading doors and full height fully padded partition.
We reinforce the panel behind the drivers cab with box section for safety and have not skimped on panel strength or horse safety.
We aim to give you at least 1 ton of payload on the 3.5 ton chassis and up to 1.4 ton should you choose to upgrade to the 3.9 ton vehicle.
Safety is our first priority and suggest that these boxes are suitable for one larger horse or 2 smaller ones, if you have 2 big horses our Trophy Twin build option 1 to 4 would
be more suitable.

    young drivers or drivers with test after 1997

    • Coachbuilt in GRP and painted in one solid colour of your choice, signwritten and choice of vynals, external body length 12 ft 6”.
    • Rear facing for 2 small horse or one larger one internal headroom 7ft 6”
    • Deep padded breast bar and full height padded partition with rubber skirt with multi position option.
    • Horse compartment 8ft 7” long.
    • Padded loading doors for added safety loading and unloading.
    • Full height ramp with power dampers non slip matting and top hat grips very easy lift

    • 2 opening windows with bars at horses heads.
    • 2 vent windows in horse area.
    • Separate rear grooms compartment approx 3ft with door with window, pull out steps, seating with cushions, saddle and bridle racks, coat hooks and mirror.

    • All of the chassis can be uprated to 3.9 tons with an added spring kit the will then need re-testing by the Ministry and fitting with a speed limiter the cost of uprating is approx £1,000 +vat. We aim to give you one Ton of payload on the 3.5 build and 1.4 tons payload on the 3.9 upgrade we will not compromise on safety for payload. Each box supplied will have been weighed to give you an exact payload for you, your horses and equipment.

    7 years ago I was looking for a 2 horse lorry. I came across Peper Harowhorse boxes advert and gave them a call. I spoke to Julia, (who is very helpful) explained to her what I was looking for and after trying several Chassis and Probably Julia's patience , they built a super Trophy Twin box for me. For 6 years this lorry never let me down , and was admired at shows. Comments often made about how good the horse area was. Well after 6 very happy years travelling around with my lovely Mercedes 814d Trophy Twin , I decided it was time to upgrade. So without hesitation I called Julia to ask if they would like to build me a new luxury, slightly bigger version of the Trophy Twin.
