Chassis Specification

This horse box is a Solataire, coachbuilt on a 2001 Iveco 75E17 chassis. The non-tilt cab has access panels in the living, 3 seats, air brakes, and a large cut through to the living area. There is a CD player, a battery isolation switch and two camera CCTV with cameras in the horse area and for reversing. It has completed 122,000 miles, has some service history with it and comes with a new MOT.

Living Area

An external groom’s door with roll out steps leads into the living area. The large living area can also be accessed via the cab cut through and it is heated. It contains an L shaped bench seat around a large table. The living area sleeps four –two on the luton above the cab and two on the converted bench seat. There are two large windows for light and ventilation, plus 2 vent windows in the luton, all with tinted windows and blinds. The kitchen area has a number of wooden cupboards and drawers. The kitchen also has a 3 ring hob, sink with running hot and cold water, an oven / grill, a microwave and a new fridge with a freezer box. Leisure batteries with a split charge system and 240v plug in power the appliances, with a living battery isolation switch to manage the battery life. There is also a separate room containing a new toilet, a basin and a shower. A groom’s door leads from the living area into the horse area.


There are two externally accessed tack lockers under the horses heads.  One contains 3 saddle racks, 4 bridle racks, coat hooks and shelving, the other contains coat hooks.
There are a number of wooden cupboards and drawers in the living area, under the counter or mounted on the walls.
A slim wardrobe is located in the living area. There is also under bench storage in the living.

Horse Area

The horse area has three medium windows, two vent windows and two roof vents, along with 6 internal tie rings. The horse area is accessed via a ramp at the rear of the vehicle with loading doors. There are two partitions to allow you to stall 3 horses travelling herringbone. Both partitions are padded, half height with headboards and rubber flaps to the floor. They are both fully adjustable and removable. The floor is wooden in good condition and for asking price, a new aluminium floor will be fitted.
