Chassis Specification

This Solataire horse box is coachbuilt on a 2001 Iveco 75e17 chassis. The non-tilt cab has access panels from within the living area and there is a battery isolation switch and a CD player. It has 69,000 miles showing, comes with some good service history, has had a recent injector replacement with Iveco and comes with a test until October 2020. There are three seats in the cab, a CCTV monitor with horse view and reversing cameras and a cut through leads into the living area.

Living Area

Accessed via the cab cut through, or from the groom’s door with roll out steps from the outside, the full living contains a large L shaped bench seat around a table. There are two large windows for light and ventilation, both with curtains. There is sleeping for 3 – 4 people, on the luton above the cab and the converted bench seat. The living and bathroom appliances are powered by the leisure batteries with split charge system or the 240v plug in and there is heating in the living area. There is also a good water heater located in the horse area, mounted on the wall. The kitchen area has a good number of wooden cupboards with a sink with running hot and cold water, a hob, oven, grill and a fridge with freezer compartment. A separate room houses a shower and an all in one toilet and basin system.

One externally accessed tack locker under the horses heads contains 3 saddle racks and 4 bridle hooks.
There are also two externally accessed skirt lockers, one containing the horse wash down.
There are a number of wooden cupboards in the kitchen area, under the counter or mounted on the walls.
A wardrobe is also situated in the living area.
A rug rack is mounted in the horse area.
There is also under bench storage in the living.

Horse Area

Accessed through the groom’s door from the living area or via the rear, easy to use ramp, the horse area has two medium windows, two vent windows, two roof vents and seven internal tie rings. Two partitions allow you to stall 2-3 horses travelling herringbone (weight and size dependent). The partitions are half height with a rubber flap at the bottom and foldaway headboards. They are adjustable, removable and padded. The horse area floor is wooden in good condition.
