Chassis Specification

Built by Peper Harow Horse Boxes, this conversion is mounted on a 2006, 7.5 Tonne Renault Midlum chassis which is in good condition. The cab has 3 seats, electric windows and a DAB radio with CD player and Bluetooth handsfree. Having completed 235,000 miles, the vehicle has mostly been maintained by Peper Harow Horse Boxes since being converted. Separate isolation switches for the engine and leisure system are located in an external locker.

Living Area

The roomy living area is accessed through either the cab cut through, or the side grooms’ door with roll out steps. A large L shaped bench seat wraps around a central table and provides additional travelling seating, thanks to the 3 lap belts provided, and sleeping for 1-2. The large luton provides further sleeping for 1-3 people and there is a full length mirror and coat hooks. Two large windows and a further window in the groom’s door provides lots of light and ventilation, blinds are included. A dual hob and sink is mounted in the worktop, with cold running water accessed via a water tank stored in the external locker. A gas bottle hook up is also located in the same external locker. These appliances and plug sockets located in the living are powered by the leisure batteries, using a split charge system, or the 240v hook up. A stable door leads from the living directly into the horse area, allowing you to open the top and see how you horses are prior to entry.

One externally accessed and lockable tack locker situated to the front of the vehicle into the living contains two bridle and two saddle racks.
The living area has a walk-in tack locker with a hanging rail, coat hooks and two bridle and saddle racks.
A full-length wooden kitchen unit is also located in the living area, containing shelves.
Additional storage can also be found under the bench seats.

Horse Area

An undersprung, easy to use rear ramp carpeted with central rubber mats leads into the large horse area which has an aluminium plank flooring and rubber mats (please note, mats are not shown in the photos as they had been removed for the floor to be checked and cleaned). Three padded partitions create 3 stalls; two with rubber flaps at the bottom, one with a solid bottom. These are fully removable and adjustable. There are rug racks at the front of the horse area as well as 3 large and 3 vent windows for light and ventilation. A loading light is also mounted at the rear, there is a horse shower and plenty of tie rings.
